They're Here!! They're Here!!

     Don't you just love that feeling you get when the FedEx man wakes you up early in the morning with loud heavy banging on your front door and then places in your hand the box full of happiness you've been waiting on all week??!!
     I ordered a pair of shoes and some frames for the face from American Apparel last Saturday or Sunday, and not only did they come perfectly packaged and protected, but they look EXACTLY like they did online which just makes my heart glad. I hate it when I buy something online and its smaller/cheaper/bigger/uglier, than it looked on the online catalog, especially when it comes to shoes. I liken buying shoes online to to online dating. Yeah, the profile looks good and everything seems like it will mesh perfectly once you meet face to face, but then when you do, it may or may not be a match made in heaven. Then you just feel bamboozled. And ready to choke a hoe!! lol. Therefore I try to stay away from that whole "buy before you try routine" when it comes to shoes. And for some reason I seem to strike out and have to fill out more return forms for casual sneakers instead of heels. But not today!!
     So I just have this to say to the pair of perfect Keds-like sneakers that have finally come into my life,
     I decided to let my guard down and allow myself to give you a chance, and baby, you were everything I thought you'd be. And you look look perfect on my feet, and in my home. Here's to many more seasons of me and you lookin' good togetha!
