So, This is something new that I've decided to try. People have been telling me for quite a while now, "Deanne, you should really start a blog, you've always got something to say", so here I am. I've decided to give it a go. My blog will not be your regular, "OMG! What do she have on!!??" blog, it will be more of a journal/sounding board of sorts. A place where I can share my thoughts and ideas as they come to me, and expand on my randomness.
I am a writer. Plain and simple. It is something that I have always been good at, it is all I think about, and at the end of the day, all I really want to do. I'm a Sophomore and Mass Communications major at Purdue University, and my reason for creating this blog is to expand on my writing and serve as my creative outlet. So this blog will essentially be a place for me to get my weight up, so to say, because trust me, the last thing I want to be is a starving artist. I like shopping way too damn much:)
I've started this new thing for 2012 where I won't take everything in my life so seriously, and this blog will be one of those things that I will keep light, fun, and entertaining. Nothing too serious, unless of course, I'm feeling serious at the moment. like I said, I plan on tailoring this to my thoughts and personality, and hopefully as more people read it and subscribe, they can throw some ideas/topics my way, and I can respond to those too. It's all goood!!
So as a 19 year old semi-adult, I've got a lot going on, and a lot I want to talk about with you guys, so here's what you'll be seeing on here when you hit me up once in a while:
I plan on talking about my life, and the gossip, fashion news, and trends around me. My posts will cover everything from current fashion trends, to my own personal ever-evolving style and fashion tips (yes there will be the cliche fashion do's and dont's, and hits and misses). I will also talk about The things going on in my life, while trying my best to give advice and inspire somebody out there, even if it's just myself. I will also give reviews suggestions, and opinions on the places I've been, things I've tried, products I've used, movies I've watched, books I've read, and anything else I can think of that would interest you all, my friends:)
And, of course, I can't leave without giving you all my two cents on celeb news, gossip, and current events! I mean that's all a blog is about, right?! lol Oh, and I can't forget my "Ask Me Anything" section! give me a topic to discuss, ask me for advice or anything. I'm here for YOU...
So I guess I'll wrap up this little spiel I've been on by telling you guys don't be afraid to stop by and visit, this is an open house! Hopefully as I grow, this blog and you guys will take this journey with me. *wiping tears swiftly* :D
Words cannot express how proud I am of the woman that you are evolving into. You have always been a giver of self and because of that, I am not surprised that you have begun the journey of self blogging. I believe others will soon learn the young lady that I know and love. Because you have always remained disciplined and never compromising of your morals, values, opinions, or faith, u will always be successful in your endeavours.
